A few things we love: vintage, blushes, gold accents and more vintage!
The vision behind this high tea dessert table started with vintage teacups, saucers and tiers fromTravelling Teacups. Each teacup chosen was unique, sharing similar blush, white or gold accents. We carried this theme throughout the rest of the design for the florals, decor and sweets.
Vintage, DIY, soft florals and greenery accompanied by treats from The Rolling Pin created the perfect setting for a sweet bridal shower dessert table. This design was styled with a bridal shower in mind but this theme could be used for several different celebrations such as baby showers or birthday parties.
The Rolling Pin made delicious French macarons, mini cupcakes and a beautiful naked cake with florals designed by Toronto florist, Alexa James. The entire set smelled so delicious it was hard not to eat these yummy treats! If you have not tried their baked goods be sure to visit The Rolling Pinbakery at 3429 Yonge St.
The soft florals and greenery arranged by Alexa James completed the high tea sweet table. The greenery draped above the backdrop with the florals perfectly set in the vintage teacups added an elegant and subtle natural touch to the dessert table. In addition to the beautiful floral arrangements, Alexa transformed the naked cake into a work of art. See the pictures below for a behind the scenes peek!
DIY projects always add an extra creative element to your design plan. Some of the DIY projects in this setting include the pink backdrop, LOVE lettering and paper hearts strung in front of the table.
